The Bohemian Underground Movement (B.U.M) is the umberella name used by
Richard Searle (former bass player from Doctor And The Medics & Corduroy)
for his various and mischievous pop art projects.
The first Bohemian Underground Movement track was recordred, as a joke,
entirely over the phone from Cornwall.
Mixed in the B.U.M studio weeks later - 'I'm Afraid Of The Man In The Pasty Shop',
features on the CD The New Testament Of Folk on Acid Jazz Records. AJX163CD.
The name came from writing BUM in the sand for purile and mischievous effect,
a photo of which can be seen in the demonstrational film featured below.
